The GNU a conjoint fiasco

The creation of employment in Zimbabwe has remained the core responsibility of the state since time immemorial through the civil service and establishing investor friendly environment for the private sector. The GNU has successfully failed to create any employment by shutting door of employment in the civil service. Worse, it has stopped even the replacement of those that retire, reign, die or even get fired. Very old employees are being awarded extra time of their period of service at the expense of the youths. To your surprise ghost workers are still in the payroll since the end of the forgotten civil service audit. Yet proclaims, we are broke….broke giving dead and non existent people salaries. It brings a question, what is the GNU doing, buying top of range cars whilst youths wallow in poverty for the satisfaction of their whims and fancies utilizing the constituency development fund. The same unemployment creation spirit also gripped the Minister of Local Government uttering the same call of stopping any employment by local authorities, the second biggest employers after the government. Not that it was an end in itself, the Minister of Youth empowerment and indigenization is running amok with an ill indigenization policy, fruitfully killing the last hopes of employment provided by the private sector. It is rather surprising that the GNU has failed to provide any employment so anyone who can provide it is a political threat. Considering the mediocre politics in Zimbabwe it could be a reason why foreign owned firms are in trouble…foolish men thinks they will gunner all the support. They have ramshackled Lobels and Jaggers yet are still chanting indigenization. I doubt the level of intellect among these policy makers and even implementers in the GNU. i don’t think there exist someone with common sense amongst our leaders. How they end up in these offices also makes me doubt the suffering populace’s capabilities of choosing leaders and make them accountable. It’s rather a sorry sight that the oppressed supports the oppressor by simply accepting oppression and fighting between the oppressed as the oppressors enjoy the delicacy of maladministration and highest level of ineptitude.

When you cast your eyes to the Ministry of tertiary education and the tertiary sector, the mind boggles a lot. Tertiary institutions are enrolling like hot cakes, MSU reaching out to 16 000, UZ to 11400 only to mention a few, its big business these institution are doing however, selling useless education. Considering that Universities are run professional intellects/think tanks, in every facet. That’s a fat lie in Zimbabwe. How can a professional intellect enroll students to partake a curricular the nation is not offering employment for at all? How did they reach to be professors and doctors? My questions for these guys can be answered by the low if not zero production of articles, literature and researches the have achieved so far, rather I equate the lesser of a first grad student because they can read but can not analyse or think on their own and write their own literature. These self acclaimed professors have never guessed an input for the way forward for the useless GNU. We should consider transforming these universities to vocational training centre at least skills can be taken home and youths can embark on innovative income initiatives. Alas, not expecting ant help form the GNU, rather they will name it illegal. It reminds me of the Taisek genius, instead of supporting a helicopter initiative our certified engineers never dreamt of, it was grounded ILLEGAL. It’s a shame, the GNU does not like a poor man to fly despite having the proof that he can fly. The best they can do is squander monies reserved for Constituency Development.

The absolute closure of possibilities of employment have intensified the vulnerability of youths, for girls they attach themselves to rich echelons especially from the political arena as alluded by His Excellence R. G. Mugabe as they are spreading HIV and boys have been set amok with the same political echelons as their mindsets have been poisoned to unleash violence to their peers connoted political affiliation as the source of all problems to their predicament of unemployment and poverty

We demand the unveiling of the public service audit. We demand the audit results of the Constituency Development Fund and all fraudsters be brought to book. We demand an investigation of the Implementation and monetary use of the Youth Fund as of the last beneficiaries. Any fraudsters of the Youth Fund should be arrested. We demand the government to create employment and stop the ILL indigenization which is shrinking employment possibilities in the private sector. We demand the stop of the use of youths as engines of violence. We demand His excellence R.G.Mugabe to wear the MDC regalia and Hon M.R.Tsvangirai to wear ZANU PF regalia and their deputies in the public domain to show us they are not part of any political Violence but true to the cause of peace building and national healing of Zimbabwe.

I urge all youths to be resilient, face the GNU as the source of dilemma in their lives in every facet. Its time the youths should unite, stand and demand the GNU to deliver or leave office before our generation wallow and rot in poverty. We should direct all our energies to the GNU to deliver not fight each other.
